JPRAS requires authors to complete a conflicts of interest declaration when submitting manuscripts. Reviewers and Editors will further seek to establish the position if suspicion arises of an undeclared and significant conflict of interests. Submissions will be rejected solely on this basis, and appropriate feedback to the authors’ employer or professional body will be made if ethical standards are deemed to have been compromised.
